Our Services

Our Speech Pathology services help people of all ages express themselves, connect with others, and thrive in daily life. We offer personalised, evidence-based support - from speech and language to social skills, literacy, and early intervention - delivered in person or via Telehealth.

Speech and Language

We support individuals of all ages to communicate more clearly and confidently. This may include help with speech clarity, understanding and using language, expanding vocabulary, forming sentences, or participating in conversations.

Social Communication

At Speechie, we are proudly neurodiversity-affirming. We believe that differences in thinking, processing, and communicating are natural and valuable parts of each individual’s identity. Our approach is centred on empowering individuals to explore their neurotype, understand their communication preferences, and navigate the social world in a way that feels right for them.

We support clients to build meaningful connections and express themselves with confidence. Therapy may include exploring social cues, communication boundaries and differences, non-verbal language, or developing strategies for self-advocacy and navigating a range of social settings. Rather than teaching individuals to conform to neurotypical expectations, we focus on equipping them and their families with the skills, strategies, and accommodations they need to thrive as their authentic selves.

Literacy

We provide support for children and adults who experience difficulties with reading, writing, and spelling. Our team works with individuals who may struggle with decoding words, understanding what they read, expressing themselves in writing, or developing foundational literacy skills.

Early Intervention

Our early intervention services support children to reach important developmental milestones in communication, play, social interaction, and everyday routines. We work with children who may be experiencing delays or who have been diagnosed with developmental conditions.

Telehealth

We offer flexible, accessible speech pathology services through telehealth. Whether you're at home, in a rural or remote area, or simply prefer the convenience of online sessions, telehealth allows us to deliver high-quality, personalised support wherever you are.

Augmentative + Alternative Communication

We support individuals of all ages who have difficulty using speech as their primary way of communicating. AAC includes a wide range of tools and strategies - from key word sign and communication boards to low-tech speech-generating devices.
