Everyone deserves the chance to feel connected, to share their interests with people who get it, to try new things alongside others, and to build confidence at their own pace.
Speechie Connect provides a supported, welcoming space where you can turn up as yourself, meet people who share your interests, and build skills and confidence along the way.

Op Shopping Scavenger Hunt

Join us for a fun treasure hunt through our favourite local op shops. You will get a playful list of things to track down, then explore, browse and chat your way through the shelves as a group. It is a relaxed, low pressure way to enjoy the thrill of the search, swap your best finds and see what hidden gems you can uncover along the way.
Sunday Social
First Sunday of Every Month
Our regular monthly get together, shaped by the people who come along. On the first Sunday of each month we meet up for an activity chosen by the group, whether that is dinner, a movie, a shopping day or something new. There is no pressure to lead, just come along, join in, and enjoy easy company with familiar faces.
Anime and Pop Culture Shopping Adventure

Spend the day exploring Melbourne’s best anime and pop culture stores, from Minotaur to One Stop Anime. We will wander the CBD together, hunting for figures, manga, merch and hidden gems along the way. Whether you are chasing a specific find or just love browsing with the people who get it, come along and enjoy however it suits you.
AFLW Game

Join us for a live AFL game and soak up the atmosphere of a big day at the footy. We will find our seats, cheer on a team, and enjoy the day together. Whether you are a die hard fan or just there for the hot chips and good company, come along and enjoy the day however feels good for you.
